I’m so thrilled to share that I was recently featured in Voyage STL, where I got to open up about the winding, weird, and deeply fulfilling path that led me to create Bohemian Enigma Design. 🌈✨
The interview gave me the opportunity to reflect on how I got here—from growing up as an outcast in Southern California, to discovering design school filled with fellow weirdos, to falling in love with every messy, colorful, and creative part of my work. Honestly, it’s been anything but a straight line, but every twist and turn has helped shape the multidisciplinary creative studio I run today.

Bohemian Enigma Design isn’t just a business. It’s a reflection of me—eclectic, hands-on, a little witchy, and built on love for bold color, intentional design, and soulful spaces. It’s a place where interior design, graphic design, murals, handiwork, jewelry, and art all meet. And I’m finally able to say: I do what I love every day.
Like I shared with Voyage STL, launching this studio hasn’t been without its challenges. Learning how to price my services realistically, balancing all the hats (bookkeeper, marketer, designer, laborer—you name it), and redefining what success looks like have all pushed me. But the passion is back, the fire is real, and for the first time in a long time, I’m dreaming big again.
None of this would be possible without my people—my family, my friends, my mentors, and especially my kids, who are the brightest lights guiding me forward. 💜
