This little powder room transformation has fully bewitched me.
Powder rooms are one of my absolute favorite spaces to design because they’re tiny but mighty — they can pack so much personality into such a small footprint. And in this case? The vibes are dark, moody, witchy magic all the way.

The Plan 🌙
Even the smallest rooms deserve a strategy. Before I lifted a paintbrush, I pulled together:
- Mood boards to nail down the dark, sultry, witchy vibe.
- Fixture selections that felt like jewelry — lighting, mirror, and faucet that would elevate the space.
- Color palettes built around the star of the show: the wallpaper.
- A step-by-step schedule (because even a tiny room has layers — paint, paper, fixtures, finishing touches).
Going in with a clear plan meant I could move fast and keep the design cohesive, even when working in such a compact space.

The Vision 🐍✨
When my dear friend Sarah asked me to zhuzh up her downstairs powder room, I knew this wasn’t going to be your standard beige box refresh. She gave me full permission to go bold — the kind of bold that makes guests walk in, gasp, and say: “oh hell yes.”
The wallpaper says it all: “We Are the Weirdos” from Spoonflower. Dramatic, witchy, unapologetically fun. That choice set the tone for everything else. Deep paint tones, moody light, and statement fixtures came together to make this little space feel like a spell had been cast.

The Process 🔮
This room may be small, but the impact is huge. Here’s how I pulled it together:
- Start with the star → The wallpaper is the focal point, so every other element was chosen to complement it.
- Play with mood → Powder rooms are perfect for going dark and dramatic.
- Details, details, details → Fixtures became the jewelry of the room, adding polish and shine.
- Tiny room, big energy → Bold choices shine brightest in small spaces.

The Result 💀🖤
Y’all. I am OBSESSED. This tiny witch’s water closet turned into the ultimate statement space — bold, glam, and just the right amount of spooky. It’s proof that even the smallest room in the house can feel like a whole mood.
Sarah, thank you (a million times over) for trusting me with your space. Creating magic for friends is one of my greatest joys, and this project is going to stay in my heart (and portfolio) forever.
